This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Champion Apps Pty Ltd ("Company", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of the NoteSure mobile application ("App").
The App is licensed, not sold, to you.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
For users accessing the App via Apple devices, this license is limited to use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the App Store Terms of Service.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Use the App for unlawful purposes
2. Platform Terms
Apple App Store
If you downloaded the App via the Apple App Store:
- This Agreement is between you and Champion Apps Pty Ltd, not Apple
- Company is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services, and Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever.
You acknowledge that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.
Google Play
If you downloaded the App via Google Play:
- Your use of the App must comply with Google Play policies
- Google is not responsible for the App or its content
3. Description of Service
NoteSure is a tool designed to assist users in identifying potential indicators of counterfeit currency using device camera input and software-based analysis.
The App may provide:
- Visual analysis and guidance
- Heuristic or AI-assisted assessments
- Informational feedback regarding currency features
4. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER – NOT A GUARANTEE
THE APP DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY OF ANY CURRENCY.
- Results are indicative only, not definitive
- The App may produce false positives or false negatives
- The App is not a substitute for professional or official verification methods
You must not rely solely on the App to determine whether currency is genuine.
5. User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for verifying currency authenticity using appropriate official or professional channels
- You assume all risks associated with accepting or rejecting currency
- The App is used entirely at your own risk
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of the App
This includes (but is not limited to):
- Financial loss
- Acceptance of counterfeit currency
- Rejection of genuine currency
- Business interruption
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any).
7. Product Claims & Legal Responsibility
You acknowledge that:
- Company, not Apple or Google, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Product liability claims
- Claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements
- Claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation
8. Intellectual Property
The App and all associated intellectual property rights are owned by Champion Apps Pty Ltd.
You acknowledge that:
- Company, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party intellectual property infringement claims
9. Subscriptions & Payments
The App may offer subscription-based features.
- Payment will be charged via your platform account (Apple or Google)
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your platform settings
We do not control billing processes handled by Apple or Google.
10. Free Usage & Limits
We may offer limited free usage (e.g., a fixed number of scans).
We reserve the right to:
- Enforce usage limits
- Require account creation for continued access
- Modify free tier offerings at any time
11. Accounts & Authentication
You may be required to sign in using third-party authentication providers.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining account security
- All activity under your account
12. Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
We may process images and data to provide App functionality.
13. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for illegal activities
- Attempt to exploit or misuse the system
- Interfere with App functionality
14. Legal Compliance
You represent and warrant that:
- You are not located in a country subject to embargo by applicable laws
- You are not listed on any prohibited or restricted parties list
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your use of the App
15. Updates & Changes
We may:
- Update or modify the App at any time
- Change features or functionality
- Update this Agreement
Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of changes.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate this Agreement.
17. Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
18. Consumer Law (Australia)
Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
